Review: emerginC Scientific Organics Phytocell Cream

I'm a firm believer in having one moisturizer for night and another for the day.  After all, why not use sleep as an opportunity to give an extra boost of moisture to your skin?  I tested out emerginC's Scientific Organics Phytocell Cream this week, applying a light coat each night.  Read on for my observations.

Pros:
  • Excellent 24-hour moisturizer for normal skin; lasts all day if applied at night
  • Thick consistency means the jar will last a long time
  • Extremely hydrating; excellent for dry and mature skin types
  • Pleasant fragrance
  • Natural ingredients
  • Can be worn under makeup, especially if applied the night before
Cons:
  • High cost for a moisturizer ($85)
Summary:
Scientific Organics Phytocell Cream is an excellent moisturizer and works with a variety of skin types.  However, its intensive moisturizing properties might make it less ideal for use on oily skin in more humid climates.  I'd recommend this for dry and mature skin types, but it would also work well on normal skin types during winter or in dry climates.
