Review: Tarte Cosmetics MultiplEYE Natural Lash Enhancer

Lash enhancers are quite popular lately, and some natural cosmetic companies are taking notice. Tarte Cosmetics offers one option at a fraction of the price of prescription products and is made with relatively safe ingredients. I gave it a try to see if it really worked.

Pros:
  • Stylish packaging
  • No prescription required
  • Safer treatment than the conventional alternatives
  • Will produce fuller, thicker lashes
  • Can be found locally at many Sephora and Ulta retail locations
Cons:
  • Slight sting on application
Summary:
Tarte's MultiplEYE Natural Lash Enhancer is an effective treatment to create longer, thicker lashes.  Results can often be seen in 4-6 weeks.  However, it should be noted that this is not safe for pregnant women, as stated on the website.  I'd like to see an even safer version without the sting.  Also, my brush separated from the fancy handle after only a few uses, so I'd like to see a sturdier design in the package.  Regardless, I was impressed by Tarte's biodegradable packaging and recycling promotions.
