Review: MOP C-Curl Curl Defining Cream

I was happy to see Alicia Silverstone mentioned MOP products on her blog The Kind Life. I had recently tested out a product in their C-System line and have been looking forward to sharing my review. Read on to see how MOP's C-Curl Curl Defining Cream performed!

Pros:
  • Fresh citrusy scent
  • A little goes a long way
  • Helps forms curls
  • Can cut down on frizz
  • Easy squeeze tube packaging
  • Avoids harsh chemicals
Cons:
  • May take a little practice to use the right amount
Summary:
MOP's C-Curl Curl Defining Cream helped hold my natural waves in place. The texture is almost a bit tacky and the white color makes it feel a bit like glue. Don't be fooled, however, because it holds well but washes out easily. The hold is gentle and not crispy like some gels.

The squeeze tube is easy to use, but be careful to wipe off the bottom completely to avoid leaving product on your counter. It can be easy to use too much at first, so I recommend starting with a small amount and adding additional product as needed. The price averages around $20, but it performs well and a tube lasted me a good two months. I recommend this creme for those who want gentle, sexy waves in air-dried or lightly blow-dried hair.
