Review: Annie's Organic Chocolate Chipper Granola Bar

My family has always looked for ways to save money, and one of them was bringing sack lunches to school and work. My dad loved eating chocolate chip granola bars and used to pack one in his lunch every day; we always had plenty on hand. Conventional granola bars are often filled with ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup, so I have been looking for a better version of this childhood treat. I was delighted to discover that Annie's Homegrown makes a chocolate chip granola bar that is not only organic but also vegan. It's called
Annie's Organic Chocolate Chipper.

Pros:
  • Only 120 calories
  • Filled with vegan chocolate chips
  • Certified organic
  • No artificial ingredients, preservatives, or corn syrup
  • Affordable
  • Tasty
  • Available at many retail stores
Cons:
  • Gone in a few bites
Summary:
Annie's Organic Chocolate Chipper Granola Bars are a healthier alternative to many conventional granola bars. I love how they are vegan, which is often rare in a product that contains chocolate chips. The ingredients are almost entirely organic, which helps justify the small increase in price over conventional products. The only thing I dislike about these bars is how they are relatively small, so I consume them in just a few bites. However, the small size helps explain the low calorie count (120). If you're a fan of chewy chocolate chip granola bars and have been looking for an organic and/or vegan alternative, I recommend trying Annie's Chocolate Chipper bars.
