Review: Clif Kit's Organic Bars

When you can't make your own snacks, dried fruit and nut bars can be really convenient. I enjoy eating those made with a few simple ingredients, so I know what I'm getting. I also enjoy when there are no added sugars, binding agents, or fillers. Clif recently released a line of bars called Kit's Organic, which is not only simple but also certified organic.

Pros:
  • Chewy texture
  • Great taste
  • Four simple, organic ingredients
  • Available in retail stores
  • Four flavor options
Cons:
  • More expensive than traditional trail mix bars
Summary:
I sampled the Kit's Organic peanut butter bar and I really enjoyed it. The texture and flavor certainly seemed better than similar bars. I also really love how these bars are vegan, gluten free, and organic. This is a powerful combo, and yet they still manage to keep the price in the moderate range. While Kit's Organic bars aren't as cheap as a granola bar, the quality of the ingredients and simplicity certainly justify the price. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a great snack for travel or a busy lifestyle.
