Review: Seaweed Bath Co Body Cream

If you have Psoriasis or another skin condition, finding the right body moisturizer can be a big challenge. Seaweed Bath Co. makes a line of products specifically to help those suffering from Psoriasis. While I don't have experience with that condition, I tested their Citrus Body Cream to see how it performed on regular skin.

Pros:
  • Absorbs quickly
  • Non-greasy
  • Light cirtus fragrance
  • Easy to apply
  • Gentle formula
  • Packaging made from recycled plastic
Cons:
  • May not be available locally
Summary:
This body cream absorbs very quickly and is made with many gentle, nourishing ingredients such as kukui and argan oils. I loved the citrus scent; it didn't smell like seaweed at all. I can't speak from personal experience as to its effectiveness on Psoriasis, but the formula is very gentle and rates a low 2 on EWG's Skin Deep database. I'd love to see a vegan version in the future. The Seaweed Bath Co. line is available in several retail stores across the U.S., but you may need to order online for specific products. If you're looking for a great lightweight body moisturizer or want a gentle cream for sensitive skin, I'd recommend checking out this lotion.
