Review: Every Man Jack Shave Cream

There are a variety of shaving creams out there, from foams to gels to creams. Most of the cruelty-free versions I've seen are soapy creams, such as Every Man Jack's Shave Cream. It comes in two types, a fragrance-free version for sensitive skin and a mint version for all skin types.

Pros:
  • A little goes a long way
  • Forms a nice, gentle lather
  • Fragrance-free formula available
  • Helps achieve a smooth shave
  • Retail availability
  • Affordable
Cons:
  • Women may overlook it
Summary:
I love how this shave cream comes in unscented and mint, both of which work for women. I used this myself, and I found that it worked quite well for shaving legs. It formed a thin layer, not too foamy, that helped create a smooth shave. Both the fragrance-free and mint versions rate a low 2 on EWG's Skin Deep database. I would love to see this made vegan or labeled as "no animal ingredients" if there aren't any already. Otherwise, it's a great alternative to conventional shaving creams and each tube will last a long time.

Also available on Amazon.com: fragrance-free and mint creams.
