Review: The Body Deli Blueberry Fusion Micro-Scrub

You may have heard of putting food on your face as a mask, but what about using a fruit scrub? The Body Deli offers a variety of skin and body care products in fresh, delicious scents. Below is my review of their Blueberry Fusion Micro-Scrub.

Pros:
  • Uses many organic ingredients
  • Yummy blueberry scent
  • A little goes a long way
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Helps get skin bright and glowing
Cons:
  • May be hard to find in stores
Summary:
This micro-scrub helps exfoliate and contains three acids to help remove dead skin cells. I loved the scent, which reminded me of blueberry yogurt. The ingredients list is very pure, though the added acids brought the rating to about a 3 on the EWG Skin Deep scale. It is one of the freshest-feeling skin care products I've ever used and was an effective exfoliator. The 2 oz size pictured above retails for about $36, which is a bit pricey, especially if you have to mail order. However, each 2 oz jar will last for dozens of uses and the purity of the ingredients helps explain the cost. If you're looking for really fresh skin care, check out The Body Deli.
