Review: Grateful Body Extra-Gentle Moisturizer

I've worked with a lot of clients who come to natural products searching for something gentle. Many people with sensitive skin are frustrated and tired of wasting time and money looking for the right products. Companies such as Grateful Body cater to people with sensitive skin, offering soothing products such as their Extra Gentle Moisturizer.

Pros:
  • A little goes a long way
  • Light texture
  • Unscented
  • Many organic ingredients
  • Gluten-free and certified vegan
Cons:
  • May be hard to find locally
Summary:
This moisturizer is a very gentle formula that has a thin, light texture. It absorbs quickly and is non-greasy, especially when applied sparingly. Although a few ingredients weren't listed in the EWG Skin Deep database, the rating came out to around a low 1. At $36, this moisturizer is a bit of an investment, but Grateful Body does offer samples. Also, a bottle of this size should last a long time. Considering the ingredient list of mostly organic and almost entirely recognizable ingredients, it's not surprising that a moisturizer of this quality isn't offered at drugstore prices. If you're in the market for a gentle moisturizer with organic ingredients, this is a great option.
