Review: Max Green Alchemy Chap Defense Lip Balm

Lip balms are often vegetarian, but rarely vegan. It's a treat to find one that is certified vegan, especially one with stylish packaging that a man would be proud to carry around. One such balm is Max Green Alchemy's Chap Defense Lip Balm.

Pros:
  • Easy to apply (soft wax texture)
  • Affordable ($4)
  • Mostly organic ingredients
  • Very moisturizing
  • Light mint/tea tree flavor
  • Mild taste
Cons:
  • Limited to one flavor
Summary:
This balm is filled with great ingredients that are mostly organic or wildcrafted. The flavor is peppermint and tea tree, but the tea tree is pretty subtle. At around $4, it's surprisingly affordable, but you may have to order it online. I love the stylish packaging and gender-neutral flavor. This product is very safe, with the lowest rating on EWG's Skin Deep database. If you're looking for a great all-purpose vegan lip balm that your man can use as well, this is a great option.
