Review: 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Eye Cream

Caffeine is a beloved component of many American lifestyles, though mostly as a beverage. 100% Pure utilizes the benefits of caffeine in their Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream, which incorporates both green tea and coffee to help treat the eye area. How does it compare to regular eye creams? Read on and find out.

Pros:
  • Improved undereye texture
  • Very gentle, mostly organic ingredients
  • Pleasant tea/coffee scent
  • Light enough to be worn under makeup
  • Easy to apply
  • Relatively affordable ($19)
Cons:
  • May be hard to find in stores
Summary:
While this gentle lotion was both gentle and hydrating, I found it more readily addressed puffiness than my chronic undereye circles (I have thin, fair skin). I love how it has earned the lowest safety rating, a 0, on the EWG Skin Deep database. It is a light formula that absorbs quickly, so it can be used both at night and in the morning (under makeup). The price is reasonable, especially considering the number of organic ingredients. However, you may need to order online; I haven't been able to find these products in my area. If you love caffeine or know someone who does, this cream is a fun twist on the usual eye products.
