Review: Beauty Without Cruelty Natural Infusion Lipstick

Foxglove Fever: a bold, bright pink
Lip products are one of the most common products that might be made "natural," but not vegan. This is often due to the use of beeswax, carmine, or both. So when I hear about a line that is both vegan and offers over two dozen different shades, I sit up and take notice. One of these lines is Beauty Without Cruelty's Natural Infusion Lipstick.

Pros:
  • Creamy texture
  • Moisturizing fomula
  • Large selection of shades
  • Gentle ingredients
  • Offers unusual colors
  • Vegan - no carmine
Cons:
  • May be hard to find in stores
Reckless Ruby (L) and Foxglove Fever (R)
Summary:
This lipstick line goes above and beyond not only other vegan lines but also natural lines, as they offer a range of unusual colors such as purple (deep plum) and gold. The colors are bold and the consistency was creamy. While the price is a little expensive, it seems like you get what you pay for. I would compare these to department store lipsticks, not drugstore. I was glad to see these lipsticks rate about a 2 on EWG Skin Deep database, which is fairly low. I love the cute designs on the tubes. Whether you're looking for a natural hue or something more bold, Beauty Without Cruelty offers some great lipstick choices for vegans and non-vegans alike.
