Review: Michy's Foods Cookies

Ginger Binge
It seems almost everyone loves a good chocolate chip cookie, but some of us go wild for more under appreciated flavors. Both my dad and my guy are crazy for molasses ginger cookies, and I have had to find a way to make my own vegan versions. They are difficult to find in stores, so I was thrilled to see this flavor included in Michy's line of all vegan cookies.

Pros:
  • All vegan
  • Fun packaging
  • Contains many organic ingredients
  • Just the right size for lunches
  • About 100 calories each
Cons:
  • May have to order online
Cran Rustica
Summary:
Michy's makes many tasty cookies, and the two flavors I tested both came in at 100 calories per cookie. They are big enough so you can eat one and be satisfied, but two to indulge without feeling like you've overdone it. The texture was crunchy but not too dry, nor too crumbly. I love how they use mostly organic ingredients. Michy's mission is also inspiring, as her passion for helping treat her father's cancer through wholesome foods turned into a business. While I haven't seen Michy's in my local stores, the shipping costs are reasonable (and free over $25) and they are packaged well, to prevent breakage. These treats would make a great gift, and you could even put together your own gift basket with a variety of flavors. I highly recommend Michy's cookies, especially for anyone who appreciates a healthy yet tasty treat.
